STOP THE BANS - OPPOSE HB 1395: FIRST ABORTION BAN OF 2023 SESSION PRE-FILED
In the last days of November, Delegate March (R - Dist.7) introduced a bill (HB 1395) that would completely ban ALL abortions in Virginia - no exceptions. While this bill is unlikely to pass the VA Senate, it is important to remember that this is the ultimate goal of anti-abortion advocates: to ban abortion, punish doctors and control women.
Abortion is Healthcare! And as Birth In Color RVA, we know that bans like this hurt people of color, people in poverty, and the marginalized communities the hardest.
We fight for the full spectrum of reproductive rights and justice in Virginia and we will continue to fight these harmful, oppressive bills! Virginians deserve better.
